A Word from the Desk of Lady Suzette...

As we close out this year and move into a new year full of hope and promise let's not forget that the young people that do not have homes or solid foundation.  My work with the Department of Social Services has made me all to aware that there is a serious disconnect with so many displaced children compared to the services that are being offered. There is so much that can be done. Often time when a child is removed from their homes it's done with the child having little to nothing...only the clothes off their backs, especially if it's an emergencies or abuse/neglect situations. Before the child can be placed or is deemed eligible for services, to start off with, the agencies generally have backpacks and bags to give the children that are full of basic supplies, change of clothes and some sort of coping or pacifying activity/toy as this situation can be extremely traumatic.  

In keeping with this idea,  Chosen Generation International Ministries would embark on a year long campaign in 2022 a call to bring awareness to social work and child protection.  Starting in January by reaching out to the local area child welfare agencies to provide backpacks full of supplies for ages infant to 17.  The backpack
